The Koda 12 is Ooni's smallest gas oven and has been the best-selling entry model for years. You open the gas valve, click the ignition, and about fifteen minutes later you are baking a 12-inch pizza in sixty seconds.

Because no wood or pellets are involved, there is nothing to top up while you bake. That is what makes it a weeknight oven: you do not need half an hour of preparation before the first pizza goes in.

The drawback is the size. Twelve inches is exactly one pizza and no more, and the opening is low. Anyone regularly baking for more than four people will be standing at the oven for a long time.
