Privacy statement

What we do not do

This is a static website with no accounts, no advertising networks and no tracking cookies. We set no cookies ourselves and use no analytics that follow individual visitors.

Price alerts

If you sign up for a price alert, we store your email address and, if you enter one, the figure below which you want to be told. We use that only to send you those alerts. We do not sell it and do not share it with third parties.

You can unsubscribe using the link in any email. After that we send you nothing further.

The contact form

If you send us a message through the contact form, we use your name, email address and message solely to answer your question. The message arrives in our mailbox; we do not store it in a database.

To prevent abuse of the form we temporarily count how many messages are sent from an IP address. That count expires automatically within a few hours.

Clicking through to shops

If you click through to Ooni, bol, Amazon or Coolblue, you leave this site. Those shops and the affiliate networks they work with set their own cookies to record that you arrived through us. Their privacy statements apply there, not ours.

All we see from those networks is aggregated reporting: how many clicks and sales there were. We do not see who you are or what exactly you bought.

Your rights

You may ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. If we cannot resolve it between us, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
