Who it is for

Nobody any more, unless you find one second-hand well under two hundred euros.

The Fyra 12 burned wood pellets and was Ooni's cheapest oven for years. Pellets fed themselves from a hopper at the back, so there was less tending than with a wood oven, but also less control over the flame.

Ooni no longer sells it new. What you still come across is second-hand or old stock at third parties, often at a price close to a new Karu 12 — at which point the Karu is the better buy.

If you are after an entry model under three hundred euros, the Karu 12 is the direct successor: wood or charcoal instead of pellets, more control, and simply available with a warranty.
