Ooni Volt 2

The Volt 2 runs on 230 volts and plugs into a normal socket. That makes it the only oven in the range you may use in a kitchen, which for a flat with no balcony or garden is often the only option.

Cooking electrically costs temperature: 450 °C instead of the 500 °C of the gas models. In practice that means a pizza in about ninety seconds rather than sixty. The result is excellent, just not quite the Neapolitan extreme.

What you get back is convenience. Set a temperature, wait until it is there, and go — no gas bottle, no ash, no dependence on the weather. It is also insulated well enough not to become dangerously hot on the outside indoors.
