Who it is for
Anyone treating the oven as an outdoor kitchen and cooking regularly for large groups.
At twenty-four inches the Koda 2 Max is by far the largest oven Ooni makes, and the size is not the most interesting thing about it. The floor is split into two zones, each with its own burner, set independently.
That lets you bake a pizza at 500 °C on the left while a tray of vegetables cooks at 250 °C on the right, or run two pizzas at once without the second waiting for the oven to recover. It is a different kind of appliance from the rest of the range.
The price and the weight come with it. This is not an oven you put away after baking; you place it and leave it there.
